Giordano launches Shoulder Ball tops

Giordano has launched the last of its spring collection series with their Shoulder Ball tops for ladies. The top is an over-sized t-shirt with a wide neckline; it is part of the ‘Mix & Media’ trend in the Giordano spring collection. The designs are available in bright pink, yellow, green and purple as well as black and monochrome stripes.

The Giordano women’s collection combines summery shades with asymmetric cuts and natural fabrics. Stylists at Giordano suggest combining the shoulder ball top with their skinny fit trousers and Audrey Fit Capri pants in both denim and khaki.

MoE to open 20 new outlets in 2012

Mall of the Emirates is set to open twenty new retail and dining outlets in 2012. Dubai has established itself as a world-class shopping destination and with a growing demand for choice across dining and shopping, the mall is adding to its diverse range of brands.

The mall is a leading luxury and lifestyle destination in the UAE and is looking to enhance its already outstanding portfolio in key areas such as dining, beauty and both luxury and high-street fashion.

A new addition to Mall of the Emirates’ collection of luxury brands is the Italian design powerhouse, Prada. The store is planned to open in June, with the Dubai store being the third largest Prada store in the world.

Coach has recently opened up in the mall with Longchamp and Kate Spade following later this year. High-street brand GAP has opened its doors with UK favourite Topshop and the laid-back looks from Aeropostale also coming soon. Villebrequin and La Perla will be offering swimwear essentials in time for summer and Swarovski will be bringing sparkle to the proceedings with their new boutique offering crystal jewellery.

As well as fashion, there are a host of delicious restaurants; for the first time in the UAE, the American favourite IHOP (International House of Pancakes) will open its doors. Other outlets include Burger Fuel, Bombay Chowpatty, The Cheesecake Factory and Just Falafel.

The Beatles Story makes its way to Dubai

To celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Liverpool’s, and one of music’s most iconic bands, the Beatles Story has made its way to the Middle East! The launch event, held at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, saw the ‘Mersey Beatles’ turn back the clock and entertain the guests with hits such as “Hey Jude”, “Come Together” and “I Want To Hold Your Hand”.
