Spring with Kate Spade

20 January 2013

As Kate Spade New York marks its 20th year this spring, the 2013 spring collection is inspired by a few of Deborah Lloyd, the Creative Director’s favourite things. One of her favourite photographs by Ormond Gigli, Girls in windows, was shot in New York in 1960. The shot features women dressed in full technicolour hues, all standing in the windows of a terrace of brownstones. Everything in that photograph, from the colour, contrast, sophistication, and style, inspires this collection.
